I have been working on this series since May. I created it for the Art Star Craft Bazaar as a line of jewelry that would complement my bowl forms. The pendants are all made individually from porcelain. Their surface is unglazed bare clay, which for me has a sensual tactility.
Yasha, these are so beautiful. can i request one for my b-day? ;-) noby can buy it for me... I'm allergic to nickel/some metals i'm not sure of, so I need at least sterling silver necklace parts.
I'm planning to go visit Tambayaki or Tanbayaki museum/store near my grandparents in Japan. It's one of the well known ceramics in Japan... you should come visit one day too.
